Color of Silkie Chicken

Silkie chicken have 2 kinds: black and white.

Origin of Silkie Chicken’s Name – Ukokkei

The blood, skin, meat and bones are all in black for the silkie chicken. Since the chicken are black from inside to outside, they are called “Ukokkei” (means black chicken).
